Painting with Stencils
What can we use stencils for?
Stencils are used to paint pictures that have clean lines and shapes. Paint brushes can sometimes be hard to use.
A stencil is a peice of paper, card or plastic that has shapes cut out of it.
When the stencil is placed onto paper and paint is spread over it, it leaves the paper underneath clean and creates a picture like this zebra.
This video shows how Charles Barratt paints a face with stencils and spray paint. We can make our own stencils using paper and scissors.
